It's known for its beaches, crystal-clear sea, and as Napoleon's place of exile in 1814-15. Then move to the Umbria region for 4 nights in Castiglione del Lago, a picturesque village surrounded by walls and overlooking Lake Trasimeno.

It is also a treasure of culinary and wine traditions, best exemplified by the region’s black truffles and Sagrantino di Montefalco, one of the most prestigious wines in italy. Umbria, Gubbio Umbria’s rolling hills are covered with lush elm and chestnut trees and river valleys. The beautiful medieval village of Assisi is a Christian mecca, famous as the birthplace of St. Clare and St. Francis, whose spiritual light influenced the world.
